Nine Ukrainian defence-tech companies from the Defence Builder delegation met the BAE Systems team in London to discuss the potential for greater cooperation between Ukraine and the UK.

BAE Systems is one of the world's largest defence companies, with sales of £30.7bn in 2025, a record order backlog of £83.6bn and capabilities across the air, land, sea, space and cyber domains. The company has a legal entity in Ukraine, supplies artillery barrels manufactured in Sheffield, and in July 2026 signed a licence agreement with a Ukrainian partner for local production of the L119 Light Gun.

A range of important topics were discussed including: advancements in technology, greater cooperation and the agility of industry.

The delegation included Sine Engineering, Farsight Vision, Meta Bureau, Trinity Robotics, Oko Camera, MaXon Systems, and Moodro.

The meeting with BAE Systems was part of the programme of the Ukrainian defence-tech delegation to the UK organised by Defence Builder, which also included Resilience Conference London 2026, a closed-door investor dinner co-hosted with Resilience Media, and meetings with techUK and Babcock International.
