Defence Builder Ecosystem organised the first-ever Ukrainian Defence Tech Delegation at UAS Forum Sweden 2026, held May 6–7 at Västervik — Sweden's longest-running drone conference, now in its eleventh year. The delegation, co-organised with SUBA (Swedish-Ukrainian Business Association), brought seven combat-validated Ukrainian companies to present their systems to 200+ defence professionals from Sweden, NATO member states, and allied partner nations.

The delegation was led by Artem Petrenko, President of Sigma Software Group — one of Defence Builder's co-founding organisations — and covered three domains of unmanned systems.

Air: General Cherry — Ukraine's leading FPV and interceptor drone producer, 400,000+ units delivered, TOP 3 national supplier to the Armed Forces. Sine Engineering — GPS-independent navigation, jamming-resistant comms and swarm-control ecosystems, components used by 150+ drone manufacturers worldwide. MaXon Systems — autonomous C-UAS platform with 90%+ Shahed intercept rate validated under live combat conditions. Huless — tethered UAV for persistent comms relay, ISR and EW, 46 systems under contract with Ukraine's MoD.

Ground: Tencore — TerMIT modular UGV for logistics, evacuation, and fire support, NATO-codified, 3,000+ frontline units, JV with FERNRIDE (Germany) launched. Trinity Robotics — Konyk ONE ground robot, 300 kg payload, 40+ km range, combat-tested in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions.

Sea: TOLOKA — autonomous underwater vehicles with range up to 2,000 km and payload up to 5,000 kg, AI-powered and sonar-equipped.

Each company demonstrated its products at the exhibition and ran direct sessions with procurement officials and military end-users. The delegation held working meetings with senior Swedish Armed Forces command, Sweden's defence and civil defence leadership, FMV procurement and R&D officials, NATO representatives, and partner-nation delegations. The Ukrainian delegation also met with Ukraine's Ambassador to Sweden Svitlana Zalishchuk, who addressed the forum as a speaker alongside Sweden's Minister for Civil Defence Carl-Oskar Bohlin, Brigadier General Marc Lobel of NATO SHAPE, and Colonel Magnus Frykvall of the Swedish Armed Forces Development Department.

The conversations focused on interoperability, procurement pathways, and the industrial logic of integrating Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology into Nordic and European defence supply chains.

Sweden is one of Ukraine's most committed defence partners — total military aid has exceeded €9.6 billion as of early 2026, with a 21st support package of €1.2 billion announced in February, including air defence, artillery, and drones, and €4 billion in comprehensive support planned for 2026.

The delegation was co-organised with SUBA (Swedish-Ukrainian Business Association). UAS Forum Sweden is organised by Västervik Drone Science Park (VDSP), founded by Urban Wahlberg and Richard Granberg.
