Programme & Content Specialist

DB Accelerator Programme & Content Specialist provides dedicated content, documentation and programme support to Defence Builder Accelerator and its batch companies throughout the full programme cycle.

The role sits inside the Accelerator team and reports directly to the Director of Accelerator. Day to day, it's about building and maintaining the practical toolkit that keeps the programme running: application forms, assessment rubrics, pitch templates, company one-pagers, programme reports. The Specialist works closely with batch companies on their pitches and materials, and connects with the DB Ecosystem Communications Team only when Accelerator content is needed for wider external communications — supplying accurate inputs, not running that function.

Responsibilities

1. Accelerator Materials & Templates
  • Develop and maintain the core Accelerator toolkit — application forms, scoring rubrics for the selection committee, feedback templates for shortlisted and rejected applicants, onboarding guides for new batches.

  • Draft high-quality first versions of content for decks, one-pagers, partnership proposals and programme overviews

  • Adjust the same core content for different audiences — a partner-facing one-pager reads differently from an internal report, even when the facts are the same.

2. Batch Company Support
  • Work directly  with batch companies to sharpen their pitch structure, positioning and key messages — hands-on, practical feedback rather than a formal review.

  • Support  companies in preparing for Pitch Sessions, Demo Day rehearsals and partner or investor meetings.

  • Build and refine company profiles and one-pagers used in partner materials and at Demo Day.

  • Keep track of each company`s progres, milestones, wins, and challenges

3. Programme Knowledge & Reporting
  • Turn batch results and lessons learned into clear, reusable, internal knowledge

  • Draft internal reports for Accelerator leadership and partners: what happened this batch, what worked, what didn't.

  • When the DB Ecosystem Communications Team needs facts or context for external communications, hand over accurate input.

  • If Accelerator materials are going out externally, check key messages with the Head of Communications for consistency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content, programme coordination, or a similar hands-on role — ideally within an accelerator, VC, or tech ecosystem environment.

  • Strong writing skills in English; able to turn programme and company information into clear, usable materials without losing accuracy.

  • Experience preparing pitch decks, one-pagers, or other investor- and partner-facing content.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while meeting deadlines Fluent English and Ukrainian, spoken and written.

Personal Profile

  • Proactive and hands-on, comfortable owning the Accelerator's content and materials work end to end.

  • Able to explaini complex programme or technical concepts in  clear, accessible language.

  • Reliable under deadline pressure, especially around open calls and Demo Day.

  • Works well as a part of  a small, fast-moving team and collaborating across functions.
